New Film on Bradford Jewish History

Working with the #MyBradford project we have a new ten minute film of Bradford’s Jewish Heritage guided by Nigel Grizzard. The short film was produced by Jenny Eells, and in it Nigel takes us on a trail of Jewish history in Bradford. Follow him to find out the links between some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

The short tour begins at Manningham’s splendid Cartright Hall, before advancing to Mount Royd Villas, the home one-time Bradford of Humbert Wolfe and then further down Queens Road to the wartime Kindertransport Hostel at the former Carlton Hotel, which was purchased especially in 1939, for Jewish evacuee children. 2 who ha left Nazi occupied Europe at the outbreak of World war Two.
