15. Joseph Beer 1815-1882

Joseph Beer was a foreign language teacher who lived in the early 1880′s. He held residence at 116 Manningham Lane. He died at his Manningham home on the 18th April 1882, aged 67. The informant of his death was Moritz Furstenheim a merchant and highly placed member of the Bradford Synagogue for British and Foreign Jews, which later would become more plainly known as Bradford Synagogue, on Bowland Street.
