Nigel Grizzard will be giving two ‘Jews in Bradford’ related talks in March and April.
The next event is on March 9th. It will be a new trail, taking in the homes of the Merchant’s of Manningham, telling the stories of some of those textile traders who made their fortunes through selling wool and Worsted and in turn helped build Bradford into the Worstedopolis it once was in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
In addition, on evening of Sunday March 9th Nigel will be giving the talk at the Leeds Chevra Kadisha evening Seudah entitled ‘Around the Grounds’ interesting facts about Jewish graves and cemeteries.
The following month, there will be a U3A (University of the Third Age) walk led by tour guide and Brontë Expert and enthusiast, Helen Broadhead of Helen’s Heritage Walks.
